Windjammer Landing is a lovely mix of hotel rooms plus villas built up a steep hill that leads down to a sheltered sandy beach. The hotel offers a choice of self catering with breakfast, or all-inclusive.
I was allocated a two bedroom villa at the top of the hill which I would have been happy to call home on a permanent basis. As well as two spacious bedrooms, the accommodation included two bathrooms plus a comfortable lounge and a huge kitchen diner with American-size cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. There was also a comprehensive range of kitchen gadgets and loads of crockery and cutlery. Outside there was a neat patio with recliners, and a pool with stunning views over the sea.
Whilst it was some way from reception, a fleet of air-conditioned shuttle vehicles are always available on demand.
The hotel’s restaurants are on or close to the beach and offering a wide selection. Open for dinner only, Papa Don's is an authentic Italian restaurant set up on the hillside offering sweeping evening views of Labrelotte Bay. Overlooking the secluded beach and main pool area, Dragonfly serves breakfast and dinner and hosts a Caribbean buffet night on Tuesdays. Right on the beach and open for lunch, Embers offers relaxed dining serving pizza and other options in a laid-back beachside setting. A casual lunch and dinner option, Jammer's features beachside bar service and serves refreshing salads, hearty sandwiches, and small bites, meanwhile Upper Deck, open for dinner only, is an upscale seafood and steak restaurant located next to Jammer's along the beach.

The reception area includes a comfortable lounge with a small library, and outside, Windmart sells a range of items you may need for your stay.
Behind reception there’s a relaxing sun terrace and pool. There is also a well-equipped gym, beauty spa and a children’s recreation area as well as several pools, and a water sports area away from the swimming area.
Windjammer Landing is re-opening on 19 November 2020 following its certification as a safe covid-19 approved resort by the Ministry of Tourism.
